Policies & Procedures

Erosion and Sedimentation Control Workshops

Upon completion of a designated Erosion and Sedimentation Control Workshop for Single Family Homebuilders, the attendee will receive an Erosion and Sedimentation Control Certification (or renewal) which will be valid for two (2) years.
Possession of an active Certification can be used in lieu of the $3,000.00 per acre surety requirement for a single family residence as required by Article 13 of the Jefferson County Subdivision and Construction Regulations.
The Certification can be revoked if the certification holder has any site found to be out of compliance with Article 13 of the Jefferson County Subdivision and Construction Regulations.
